Pure green emission at 515-525nm - Through-hole 1.8mm tower LED delivers 8,000-9,000 mcd luminous intensity at 20mA drive current through a clear water-clear lens. Forward voltage is 3.0-3.4V with a focused 20-30 degree viewing angle for crisp point-source illumination.
Subminiature 1.8mm cylindrical tower package - Compact 1.8mm diameter through-hole body fits panel cutouts, miniature PCBs, and confined enclosures where standard 3mm and 5mm LEDs will not seat. Two radial leads on standard pitch accept hand-soldering, breadboard insertion, or screw-terminal wiring.
Polarity and resistor reference - Through-hole LEDs are polarity-sensitive: longer lead is anode (+), shorter lead is cathode (−). For 20mA drive current with a 3.0-3.4V LED, use a series resistor of 100Ω 1/4W on 5V, 300Ω 1/4W on 9V, 470Ω 1/4W on 12V, or 620Ω 1/2W on 15V.
Scale modeling and miniature applications - 1.8mm form factor suits HO and N scale model railroad signal heads, structure lighting, and switch stand indicators where green aspect realism matters. Also fits dollhouse fixtures, diorama scene lighting, miniature display cases, and tight-space indicator builds.
