Product Information

About

【COMPATIBILITY】: The Wall Thimble Suitable for 6-inch double wall insulated chimney vent pipes; Adjustable to meet the penetration requirements of walls 4.5-9 inches thick, for thicker walls can be solved by on-site production of extension pipe
【WARNING】：Please follow the instructions of the appliance manufacturer to determine the chimney pipe diameter. If you want to calculate the chimney's outside diameter, add 2 inches to the inside diameter. Do not choose chimneys with a diameter larger than the diameter of the casing to use this product, as it will cause significant trouble
【PRODUCT FUNCTION】: The Wall Thimble designed for horizontal (through-wall) or flat ceiling installations, It protects the wall as the chimney passes safely through to the outside and provides a finished look to the framed opening
【DESIGN & MATERIAL】: The diameter of the casing round hole is 8 inches, Made of 430 stainless steel, it has excellent corrosion resistance and can maintain long-term working effect
【EASY INSTALLATION】: The detachable telescopic pieces are very easy to install. Just embed and fix them on both sides of the wall respectively to complete the entire installation
【304 VS 201 (stainless steel)】： 201 stainless steel: chromium content is 15-16%, nickel content is 8-9%. 304 stainless steel: chromium content is 17-19%, nickel content is 8-10%. Due to different compositions, the corrosion resistance of 304 stainless steel is superior to that of 201 stainless steel. Because nickel is an element with strong corrosion resistance. The chromium content in 304 stainless steel is also relatively high, which enables it to better resist oxidative corrosion. The carbon content of 304 stainless steel is relatively low, which means that the structural changes of 304 stainless steel are small in high temperature environments, thus making its heat resistance better.
