Product Description
Amazon.com "Let's take a shower together." Between Al Green and Luther Vandross, and way before South Park's Chef, came Teddy Pendergrass, the king of the soul seduction masters for a half-decade after his mid-'70s departure from Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. Greatest Hits gives the solo Pendergrass his due with 15 signature rubdowns. The greatest of the great, 1980's "Love T.K.O.," ends the album's survey of TP's Philadelphia International years; two songs cut for Elektra after the singer's paralyzing 1982 auto accident round it out. If you haven't heard these enticing tunes or thought about the man they called Teddy Bear in years, this is a reminder you need. --Rickey Wright
