Gobblet! Abstract Strategy Board Game - Award Winning Kids or Adults Original All Wooden Board Game by Blue Orange Games - 2 Players for Ages 7 to 99.

About this item

• KIDS OR ADULTS STRATEGY BOARD GAME - 2 PLAYERS ONLY: With this fun classic all wooden board game, players will exercise memory, strategy and focus & attention. Easy to understand and play - no reading required. All components fit in a beautiful steady wooden box.
• 3 DIMENSIONAL TIC-TAC-TOE: Gobblet is an abstract game played on a 4x4 grid with each of the two players starting with twelve pieces that can nest on top of one another. The goal is to line up four gobblets of your color in a row. It's easy to play, but hard to master!
• HOW TO PLAY: Your goal in Gobblet is to place four of your pieces in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal row. Your pieces start nested off the board. On a turn, you either play one exposed piece from your three off-the-board piles or move one piece on the board to any other spot on the board where it fits. A larger piece can cover any smaller piece. A piece being played from off the board may not cover an opponent's piece unless it's in a row where your opponent has three of his color.
• WHO WILL ENJOY PLAYING: Gobblet is the perfect abstract strategy game for two children to play together, or with a parent, and adults will also enjoy playing this fun game. It helps develop strategic and critical thinking, observation and memory skills, turn taking, hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. For 2 players only, for ages 7 to 99.
• This fun wooden strategy game INCLUDES: 1 Wooden Box with lid, 24 Wooden Gobblers, simple and easy to follow instructions. Gobblet makes a great addition to your classic board games collection and will earn a great spot on your coffee table to be played any time.
• AWARD WINNER: Gobblet was the very first game created by Blue Orange. It is now part of the Blue Orange Award winning game collection including Kingdomino, Photosynthesis, Bendomino, Double Shutter, Yamslam. For younger players, check out Gobblet Gobblers, the junior version of Gobblet. It plays the same but features a smaller 3x3 board (instead of a 4x4 board) with fewer pieces and popping blue and orange colors.
