The Pentair Pentek P5 sediment filter cartridge delivers reliable 5-micron filtration for whole-house, under-sink, and point-of-use systems. Its spun-bonded polypropylene fibers are formed into a true gradient density structure without a center core. This layered design captures larger sediment on the outer surface while trapping finer particles deeper in the media, giving you greater dirt-holding capacity and longer service life compared to uniform-density cartridges. Built from 100% pure polypropylene, the P5 will not add taste, odor, or color to your water and offers superior chemical compatibility for a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The cartridge operates in water temperatures from 40 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit and produces just 0.2 psi of pressure drop at 5 gpm, preserving the water flow your household depends on. The P5 is NSF/ANSI Standard 42 certified for material safety requirements and fits any standard 10" x 2.5" filter housing. Simply remove your old cartridge and drop in the P5 for cleaner, filtered water with no tools or adapters required.
