About this item
- 18 Vivid Colors: Gansai is a traditional Japanese watercolor inspired by the vivid colors found in nature, offering rich, opaque hues; each pan is carefully filled with smooth, non-granulating paint that dries to a subtle sheen
- Smooth, Non-Granulating Pigment: The paints dry without leaving hard edges, making smooth, even flat washes easy to achieve; with proper technique, they can also be layered effortlessly
- Brush Dexterity: Gansai Tambi pans are larger than typical watercolor pans, allowing easy use with both small detail brushes and larger wash brushes
- Palette & Color Chart Included: Each set includes a protective sheet that keeps the pans in place and doubles as a convenient mixing palette; a color chart is also included, making it easy to swatch and quickly identify your colors
- Gift-Ready Packaging: Made with ACMI-certified, water-based pigments; elegantly packaged in a simple cardboard box with a refined green washi overlay, perfect for gifting
