SportDOG Canvas Dummy, Orange, Puppy Size 2.25 inches x 8.5 inches

Product Description

SportDOG Canvas Dummies are purpose-built for serious hunters and trainers who want to condition their dogs for real fieldwork. Designed to simulate the size, weight, and scent of actual game, these starter hunting dummies provide the control and realism needed to turn drills into field-ready results.Constructed with rugged canvas, each dummy is built to take a beating from high-drive dogs without breaking down after a few sessions. The canvas shell readily holds game scent, turning each throw into a practical scent drill for sharper, more focused retrieval. Whether you’re preparing for upland, waterfowl, or general field use, this game scent absorber ensures dogs associate the scent with successful returns. The dummies are weighted, helping you train on accuracy and distance. This long-range throw dummy design means handlers can replicate real hunting throws with consistency, helping dogs learn how to mark and retrieve on both land and water. Buoyancy allows for floating action during water retrieves.Since 2003, SportDOG has been the trusted name for hunters, trainers, and outdoor dog owners who need gear that works as hard as their dogs do. Every product is built for rugged conditions and tested by real handlers in the field—not in labs. With a no-fluff approach, expert-developed training resources, and U.S.-based customer care, SportDOG delivers the clarity, control, and durability serious users demand. Whether you're hunting upland game or exploring off-leash, SportDOG gives you the confidence to train, contain, and communicate with your dog—no matter where the trail leads.
