Product Description

HIC Kitchen Old Fashioned Onion Chopper delivers quick and consistent results for chopping and mincing onions and a variety of softer ingredients. A vintage-style kitchen essential used by generations, it saves time and effort while reducing the mess and hassle of traditional knife chopping. Made from durable glass with sharp 18/8 stainless steel plane-edge blades, it is lead-free, BPA-free, and holds up to 1.5-cups. The spring action automatically lifts the blades back into position, making repetitive chopping fast and efficient. Simply place food inside the sturdy glass base, attach the lid, and tap the plunger until the desired texture is achieved. This multipurpose hand chopper is easier to use and clean than a bulky food processor and helps minimize tears when cutting onions. It is perfect for preparing onions, eggs, produce, nuts, fruit, tuna, hard boiled eggs, small salads, and quick healthy snacks for everyday meals. The compact size stores easily in a cabinet or drawer, making it a practical alternative to large appliances. The glass base is dishwasher safe, and all other parts are hand washable for lasting use. Before first use: remove the glass base, detach and discard the center stem guard to release the blades, wash and dry the chopper, then reattach the glass base. The chopper is then ready for use.
