About this item
- Classic French Butter Keeper - Original Provencal Design – Inspired by traditional French country kitchens, this Antique collection of Butter Bell crocks feature hand-detailed embossing of vineyard leaves and climbing vines. The distinctive design creates an authentic vintage aesthetic while providing the perfect size for keeping butter fresh and accessible on your countertop.
- Premium New Bone China - restaurant quality durability – Unlike plastic or low-grade ceramics, original Butter Bell crocks are made from proprietary, high-grade New Bone China ceramic. Fired at 2200°F with lead-free, cadmium-free glazes for a scratch-resistant, dishwasher-safe finish. Professional-grade construction backed by our exclusive 2-year limited warranty.
- The Original Butter Bell crock - a trusted brand for 29 years - Modeled after the traditional French beurrier, the L. Tremain Butter Bell crock has been keeping butter fresh and spreadable for weeks without refrigeration since 1996. Our two-piece water-seal design prevents spoilage, odors, and rancidity so that butter stays fresh on your countertop.
- Foolproof butter storage system – Simple 3-step process: Add 1/3 cup cold water to base, pack softened butter firmly into lid, insert for airtight seal. Holds exactly one stick/cube (1/2 cup/125g) of salted, unsalted, European, or homemade artisan butter. No electricity, no refrigeration needed!
- Eco-conscious packaging - perfect for gifting – Each original Butter Bell crock arrives in specially designed, recyclable four-color gift packaging - ideal for housewarming gifts, wedding registries, holidays, and special occasions.
- Iconic American kitchen brand - featured in gourmet kitchens worldwide – The Original Butter Bell crock is a registered US trademark offering exclusive patterns and designs. Featured in fine kitchens across America and internationally, our artisan-quality butter crocks represent a quarter-century of proven craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
