Frontier Co-op Organic Mace Powder, Fairtrade Certified, 16 Oz, Bulk Bag - Nutmeg Substitute for Chili, Moroccan and Caribbean Dishes

About this item

• MACE POWDER - Frontier Co-op Mace Powder, certified organic and fair trade, is derived from the reddish, lacy covering of the nutmeg seed. Mace offers a warm and aromatic flavor profile that is somewhat similar to nutmeg.
• BEST USES - Mace can be a substitute for nutmeg in recipes, with the guideline of using approximately 20 percent less mace than nutmeg. This spice adds a rich, warm, and slightly sweet note to a variety of dishes, making it a versatile choice for enhancing both sweet and savory recipes.
