The Pentair Pentek Big Blue 10-inch filter housing provides dependable whole-house water filtration for homes with municipal or well water supplies. Constructed from durable polypropylene with a high-flow polypropylene (HFPP) cap, this housing delivers strong flow rates with minimal pressure loss, making it well suited for high-flow and heavy-sediment applications where consistent water delivery matters.Designed for easy maintenance, the integrated pressure relief button lets you safely depressurize the system before opening the housing for cartridge replacement. The 300-series stainless steel button assembly ensures long-lasting, reliable operation. This housing accepts any standard 10" x 4.5" filter cartridge, giving you the flexibility to choose sediment, carbon, or specialty cartridges based on your water quality needs.Rated to 100 psi maximum pressure with an operating temperature range of 40-100°F, this NSF/ANSI Standard 42 certified housing features 3/4" NPT inlet and outlet ports and includes an EPDM O-ring.
