About this item

• FLEXIBLE EXPOSURE CONTROL WITHOUT CHANGING FILTERS: Dial in 2 to 8 stops of light reduction with a simple twist, giving you seamless control over shutter speed and aperture settings without carrying multiple ND filters. Perfect for photographers and filmmakers working in changing light, this variable ND filter lets you create smooth motion blur, shoot with a shallow depth of field, and adapt quickly on fast-moving productions without swapping gear.
• Variable Nd Performance With Precision Rotation : Built with Tiffen’s ColorCore glass technology and a rotating filter ring that allows you to smoothly select your desired neutral density from 0.6 to 2.4 optical density (2-8 stops). Fine-tune exposure in real time during interviews, gimbal work, and handheld shooting so your variable ND filter feels like an intuitive extension of your camera instincts.
• PERFECT FOR VIDEO, LANDSCAPES & CREATIVE MOTION EFFECTS : Slow shutter speeds to create silky water, dramatic cloud movement, motion blur, and cinematic video footage. It also lets you shoot at wider apertures in bright outdoor conditions, giving you better depth-of-field control and a more polished, professional look.
• RELIABLE BRAND YOU CAN TRUST : Backed by Tiffen’s long-standing reputation in photographic and cinematographic filtration, manufactured with optical glass, and made in New York, this variable ND filter reflects decades of real-world imaging experience, giving photographers and filmmakers confidence that their 77mm ND filter will deliver dependable, repeatable results on demanding shoots when every frame matters.
• TRAVEL-LIGHT, SHOOT MORE EFFICIENTLY : Consolidate your kit by replacing stacks of fixed ND filters with a single variable ND filter, freeing valuable space in your camera bag while reducing overall gear, stay organized on hectic travel or run-and-gun shoots, focusing your energy on creative decisions instead of managing excess equipment.
