About this item
- Product description: Discover the famous Sydney Opera House. This masterpiece of expressionist architecture is the vision of a young Danish architect, Jørn Utzon, who, with his creation in the shape of shells partially overlapping each other, managed to outperform 933 competitors from 28 countries and thus won an international design competition organized in 1959 by the government of the New Wales South.
- Associated with the magnificent Sydney Harbour, the opera house has become a true symbol of postmodern architecture and one of the most famous buildings of the 20th century. This LEGO Architecture interpretation of the Sydney Opera House was designed by American architect Adam Reed Tucker in collaboration with the design team LEGO.
