The Beadsmith Vintaj Ball Pein Hammer

About this item

• PEENING HAMMER: This is a good general-purpose hammer that has one flat face and one rounded, also known as a peen hammer. The peening face is handy for spreading metal and rounding off edges of metal pins and fasteners, such as rivets or striking steel tools such as chisels and stamps.
• METALSMITHING TOOL: This 9.5-inch, two-sided hammer features a lightweight wooden handle, which helps with hand fatigue sometimes associated with the frequent use of heavy tools. The 61mm steel head weighs 4oz and the faces measure 19mm.
• GET CREATIVE: Use the ball pein side of the hammer for spreading and shaping metal, to create bracelets and necklaces jewelry or decorative home décor, such as plates, bowls, and wall art. The flat side is used for striking tools, such as stamps to create personalized jewelry or chisels to carve sculptures out of wood, stone, or metal.
• GREAT FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS: This all-purpose hammer is good for beginners trying their hand at metalworking as well as professional artists and designers who create in jewelry, leather blacksmithing and other metal mediums. The crafter’s tool is also great for multi-media artists.
