Light Capacity Tweezer-Style Resistance Soldering System

Product Description

Smash operational bottlenecks: concentrated heat reduces solder time many times over. Improve solder joint quality: poor solder joints are often the result of insufficient heat throughout the joint, creating weak spots. Eliminate thermal damage: traditional soldering methods introduce too much heat into surrounding areas damaging critical components or desoldering of previously soldered joints. Reduce liability: light-weight hand pieces cool within seconds greatly reducing likelihood of repetitive strain injury and virtually eliminating the burn risk for the user. Solder in tight spots: versatile systems allow easy access to restricted areas. Cut down on energy consumption - instant heat means you're not paying to heat a soldering station all day long. Save on maintenance and consumables: electrodes last twice as long as soldering tips and don't require constant rewetting. Users of this product have stated that they use it for several jobs which include but are not limited to: Soldering wire terminations 18 AWG and finer. Soldering fiber optic cable into gold plated termination. Soldering lead wires to multi-pin tap switch connector. Soldering component leads for through hole PCB assembly. Repairing fine jewelry. Repairing cable assemblies in submarines. Soldering delicate photo etch brass and stainless. Soldering microwave cable assemblies. Soldering in process of jewelry making. Removing an oxidized screw by heating. Soldering RF Connector PINs. Soldering surface mounted component repairs. This System may be used for a wide variety of standard soldering applications. These uses may include, but are not limited to, wire processing, terminations, fiber optics, standard multi-pin connectors, electrical and electronics work, small assemblies, model railroading applications, printed circuit board components, prototyping and many more. 250 watts. 1/4" Opening between electrodes. 0.078" Electrode size.
