Mustad 39944 Demon Perfect Circle in-Line Wide Gap Fishing Hooks, Black Nickel, UltraPoint
Product Information
About this item
- IN-LINE CIRCLE HOOK DESIGN: Demon Perfect Circle Inline geometry rolls point to the corner of the mouth, reducing deep-hooking and supporting catch-and-release across catfish, redfish, drum, carp, and coastal gamefish.
- ULTRAPOINT NEEDLE POINT: Chemically sharpened Opti-Angle needle point delivers low-resistance penetration and holds a sharp edge through repeated use in freshwater and saltwater environments.
- NOR-TEMPERED HIGH-CARBON STEEL: Nor-Tempered wire construction provides consistent bend strength and resistance to straightening under load from heavy bait and aggressive bottom-feeding species.
- SELF-SETTING ACTION: Hook loads and sets on steady line tension rather than a hard hookset — ideal for rod-holders, setlines, and multiple-rod live or cut bait presentations.
- BLACK NICKEL FINISH — SIZE 1/0: Black Nickel finish resists corrosion in fresh and saltwater. Size 1/0, Pack of 50. Ringed or standard eye accommodates snelled rigs and direct knot ties.
Product Description
The Mustad Circle hook is a short shank circle hook made for bait to target Sailfish, Wahoo, Amberjack, small Tuna, Permit or Striped Bass. The distinct curved shape of the circle hook will, when the fish takes the baited hook and swallows it, ensure that the hook travels to the corner of the mouth or lip, resulting in fewer deep-hooked fish. It is in other words, the ultimate Catch&Release hook. Setting the hook is more of a firm tightening of the line, than an actual strike. Perfect when using live baits. The “MTL-V1” point combines a more efficient point design with a new sharpening process to enhance the quality. The result is a sharper, sleek new point shape with penetration resistance 50% lower than standard Classic Hook points! Black nickel finish. This hook is Tournament Approved by the Billfish Foundation. MVL-V1 point technology Needle point Ringed eye Black nickel finish
