About this item

Promotes relaxation – If you’ve felt the calming effects of green tea, thank theanine! Found in green tea, it’s one of the best-known amino acids for stress— and for good reason. This supplement supports a healthy stress response to maintain your zen.
Calming brainwave patterns – L-theanine helps modulate several different aspects of brain activity for mood support. This supplement promotes specific brainwave patterns similar to those associated with performing meditation or getting a massage.
Neurotransmitter production – The neurotransmitter gamma amino butyric acid (GABA) plays a role in influencing healthy levels of the feel-good neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin. L-theanine helps encourage GABA production, to keep that feel-good feeling going.
Science matters – Expert formulators design our supplement formulas, and a Certificate of Analysis is available for every Life Extension product.
Quality ingredients – The majority of our products are non-GMO, gluten-free and manufactured in the USA with internationally sourced ingredients.
