Meinl Slaptop Cajon Box Drum with Internal Snares and Forward Projecting Sound Ports - NOT MADE IN CHINA - Walnut Playing Surface, 2-YEAR WARRANTY (TOPCAJ2WN)

About this item

• NO REACH ISSUES: the Meinl Turbo Slaptop Cajon puts the playing surface in your lap so you can play longer without feeling uncomfortable from leaning over; all sounds are right in front of you in a natural position
• WHY IT MATTERS: it saves your back if you can't deal with leaning down on a standard cajon; plus, it's easy to get used to if you're a new or casual player (anyone can learn in minutes)
• HOW IT WORKS: like a mini drum kit, the walnut playing surface produces deep bass and crisp snare tones; these sounds vary depending on where you strike with your hands (MIDDLE: bass, LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES: snare)
• GO DEEPER: the resonating body has a large forward-facing bass port that projects toward your audience; this gives you fuller low-end tone
• ONE TAKEAWAY: the different sounds don't bleed into each other so you have clear separation of notes; this makes your playing more expressive
• THE BOTTOM LINE: you can play alongside guitars at acoustic shows, with your praise band, in the studio, or at outdoor jams; the durable modern composite body reflects sound and has four silicone feet to keep it protected
• BY THE NUMBERS: this turbo size Slaptop Cajon measures 18 1/2" long x 9 1/2" wide x 14 1/4" tall and weighs 8 lbs; its large size has enough volume for any room, and it's about as loud as a traditional cajon
• THE BIG PICTURE: Meinl is a family-owned musical instrument manufacturer and brand established 1951 in Germany; our expert German designers have deep relationships with our builders to ensure you're delivered the absolute finest quality
