Hillman Zinc-Plated Steel Metric Hex Jam Nuts M14-1.50 Fine Thread, 6 Pack

About this item

• THIN NUT THAT LOCKS A JOINT: This jam nut is a low-profile hex nut, thinner than a standard nut, used to lock a position or jam against a second nut so a threaded connection holds its setting and does not turn or work loose over time.
• LOW PROFILE, SIX FLATS: Fitting a M14-1.50 metric fine thread, the reduced-height body slips into tight clearances and is run against a standard nut or a fitting, then jammed tight so the two lock together, with hex flats for a wrench.
• ZINC-PLATED STEEL: Made from steel with a protective zinc plating, the jam nut resists rust and corrosion for dependable indoor and light outdoor use, holding a firm locked position on threaded rod, fittings, and adjustments over time.
• PLUMBING AND ADJUSTMENT USE: Ideal for locking turnbuckles, sensors, valve stems, plumbing fittings, and threaded adjustments in place, and as a jam nut behind a standard nut, a handy low-profile nut for repair and setup work.
• TRUSTED HILLMAN QUALITY: Hillman supplies dependable fasteners and hardware that homeowners and pros rely on for everyday projects. Keep these nuts on hand for assembly, mounting, and repair jobs around the home and shop.
