Mudtools Small Shredder – Flexible Clay Shaping & Carving Tool for Pottery and Ceramics – Precision Rasp for Refining Leather-Hard Clay (Red)

About this item

• Precision Shaping for Smaller Areas – The Mudtools Small Shredder is designed for controlled material removal in tighter spaces. Ideal for refining curves, trimming edges, and adjusting proportions on leather-hard clay without disturbing the overall form.
• Efficient Clay Removal Without Tearing – Sharp stainless-steel shredding teeth remove clay cleanly and evenly. Reduces weight, defines contours, and prepares surfaces for final smoothing while maintaining structural integrity.
• Flexible Body for Smooth Contact – The polymer base flexes naturally to follow the curve of your work, allowing consistent pressure across bowls, vases, and sculptural forms.
• Built for Leather-Hard Work – Performs best on leather-hard clay, where precision removal matters most. A must-have for trimming, shaping transitions, and refining silhouettes before final finishing.
• Made in the USA by Mudtools – Designed by potter Michael Sherrill and trusted by ceramic artists worldwide. Durable, easy to clean, and built to withstand daily studio use.
