The most economical and practical way to store piano wire. A two piece canister that screws together, this holds any standard 1 lbs. coil, as well as the 1/2" coil. This is designed to dispense coiled wire, such as Roslau wire (Dulcimer wire comes on wooden spools, so the canister would then only be useful for storing the wire, not using it to dispense it). To use, you stick the beginning of the coiled wire into one piece of the can. You can then remove the ties holding the coil together (think garbage ties--holding the wound wire together and keeping it from uncoiling). Feed the end through the large hole in the canister, and screw that part of the lid on. You can then quickly and easily pull the desired length of piano wire front the canister. A simple yet effective product!
