• Compact 1.8mm cylindrical tower package - Miniature 1.8mm through-hole tower body — one of the smallest standard DIP LEDs available — fits inside N-scale structures, micro dioramas, and dollhouse fixtures where 3mm and 5mm LEDs are too large. Two radial leads on standard pitch for breadboard, perfboard, or direct point-to-point wiring.
• Polarity and resistor reference - Through-hole LEDs are polarity-sensitive: longer lead is anode (+), shorter lead is cathode (−). For 20mA drive current with a 3.0-3.4V LED, use a series resistor of 100Ω 1/4W on 5V, 300Ω 1/4W on 9V, 470Ω 1/4W on 12V, or 620Ω 1/2W on 15V.
• Scale modeling and miniature applications - Warm white 3000K tone suits HO and N scale structure lighting, passenger car interiors, station lamps, and trackside building windows.
