• The relaxing, repetitive weaving process promotes creativity, focus, and mindfulness. Makes one finished plaited basket measuring approximately 3" square × 2" tall. The basket can be expanded with additional materials.
• The kit comes packaged in a convenient storage bag and includes fiber splint in two widths, clothespins, and full-color photo instructions. You will need: scissors and a pencil.
• Recommended for ages 8 and up. Adult participation is recommended for children 12 years and younger (take breaks). This project creates the muscle memory necessary for developing the complex skill of basketmaking.
