The tattoo will not stick (or last) if you apply over skin that has any lotions or oils on it. Now you can cut out your design. Step 2: Remove clear film covering tattoo. Be sure not to let the tattoo touch anything once film Step 3: Place tattoo face down on skin. Depending where you are placing the tattoo, you may need some help. Grab your bestie and have them give you a hand. Step 4: Hold a damp cloth (or paper towel) against the tattoo and apply light pressure. Keep the wet cloth on the tattoo for about 30 seconds. Step 5: Slowly start to peel the paper off while checking to see that the tattoo is on your skin. Once paper is completely removed let your tattoo dry full. Try not to let that area of skin stretch or move a lot so that your new tat can dry and last for days. Step 6: Enjoy your new body art! Show off your new tattoo design where ever you go and love all of the compliments you will get. TATTOO TIPS To get the most out of your tattoos: Skin should be clean and dry. This means washing lotions, sunscreen or oils that you may have applied hours ago. If the skin isn't oil/lotion free your tattoo mat not stick well and won't last as long. Make sure to apply light pressure when applying your tattoo. Oh and also wait at least a full 30 seconds. Let the tattoo dry completely. Even after it is dry, try not to move or stretch the skin too much. Avoid applying lotions, oils, sunscreen and perfumes to the tattoo. This will help it last longer
