About this item
- The Ladbrooke 5-Pc Essentials Set includes the Mini 4, Micro 20, Cubic Inserts, 3/8" Seed Pins, and 7/8" Dowel Pins — everything needed to start soil blocking the day it arrives. Mini 4 makes four 2" blocks per press. Micro 20 makes twenty 3/4" starter blocks. Cubic inserts snap into the Mini 4 so Micro 20 starter blocks nest directly inside — no repotting, no root disturbance. Soil blocks eliminate plastic pots entirely.
- Manufactured in England since the 1960s. Premium EP-coated steel resists corrosion, moisture, and soil chemicals. Built to last a lifetime of seed starting seasons.
- Two block sizes work together in sequence — Micro 20 makes 3/4" starter blocks that nest directly into Mini 4's 2" blocks. One continuous system from germination to transplant. No repotting, no root disturbance. The Maxi blocker adds a third block size when you're ready to grow the system further.
- Press moistened soil blocking mix into the mold and eject directly into your tray. Each block has a built-in seed dimple. Roots air-prune naturally at the block edges — no circling, no crowding, virtually no transplant shock.
- Eco-friendly seed starting from day one. No plastic trays, no plastic pots. Just soil, seeds, and tools built to grow with you.
- Dowel pins create deeper holes in each block — perfect for larger seeds and seeds that need to be planted deeper. Seed pins create the standard seed dimple. One set, every seed covered.
- Authentic Ladbrooke — look for the Ladbrooke logo and MADE IN UK stamped on every tool. Not a copy, not a knockoff. The original since the 1960s.
