Product Description

Welcome to the Holdsworth Guild of Magicians. The Thames & Kosmos Magic Gold Edition is one of the most complete beginner-to-intermediate magic sets on the market — 150 tricks, 42 props, 96 pages of full-color illustrated instructions across two booklets, and 28 free online tutorial videos. Whether your child wants to make a coin vanish, link solid metal rings, produce rabbits out of thin air, or make a magic wand appear to float in front of their hands, this set has it covered. What's in the box? Forty-two purpose-built props give kids the tools professionals use, scaled for young hands and growing skills: 3 gold cups, pompom balls, color-changing ball halves and ball shell, linking rings (including a key ring), magic wand with removable end caps, rope, diamond tunnel with secret compartment, dice tunnel, coin box, Ellis rings and ring shell, foam rabbits (large and small), illusion disk, magic cards, banana cards, thimbles, metal ring, metal spring, and a die. Structured learning that actually works Every trick follows the same clear format — materials, secret preparation, performance. Tricks rated ★ are fast and simple; ★★★ tricks require real skill and practice, giving kids something to work toward. The 28 online video tutorials show the moves in action for the trickiest techniques, so no one gets stuck on a written description alone. Access instructions are included in the manual. Show-ready from day one The manual covers not just the tricks but the performance craft around them — how to misdirect an audience, how long a show should run (15 minutes is the sweet spot), where to seat spectators, and the three golden rules every magician must know. Parents can assist from the wings while kids build the confidence to perform solo. A trusted pedigree This set is the result of a collaboration between Thames & Kosmos and Hanky Panky Toys, official Magic Toys Manufacturer of FISM and a producer of children's magic sets since 1961. Recognized by the world's leading body of magic societies. Many professional magicians and world champions got their start with a Hanky Panky set. Ages 8 and up. Not suitable for children under 3. Adult supervision recommended.
