As the stones are revealed, carefully chisel around them, brush away the debris, and use the included magnifying glass to take a closer look at the patterns and colors within each gorgeous stone — what makes each one unique?! Then, like a real geologist, use the ceramic streak plate to determine the color of the minerals in powdered form. The Discovery Gemstone Dig isn’t just the perfect start to an amazing rock collection, it makes learning about geology, archeology, and gemology.
