ATS DPG-ES1 Drill Press Guard, Fits 2.0-4.0 Inch Columns, Made in USA

About this item

• Shields operators from flying chips, coolant, and spindle contact on drill presses: Fits bench-top and floor models with 2.0 to 4.0 inch round columns and 5 to 10 inch throat distances. Addresses OSHA 29 CFR 1910.212 machine guarding.
• Installs in under 10 minutes with no drilling into your machine: The 6061 aluminum two-piece column clamp bolts around the existing round column using standard shop tools. Fully reversible installation maintains your equipment integrity.
• Aluminum extrusion frame with PPG OSHA Safety Orange powder coat: 30mm T-slot extrusion holds position under continuous vibration and coolant exposure. Built to handle years of daily production use.
• Adjusts to any workpiece height and flips open for quick bit changes: The 1/4 inch Lexan polycarbonate shield moves up, down, in, and out on slotted extrusion. Flips 180 degrees upward so you can load parts without removing the guard.
• Backed by a 1-year warranty, and only the Lexan shield ever needs replacing: The 6061 aluminum frame is a permanent, one-time purchase. Replacement Lexan shields (part RDS-2) are stocked and sold separately at a fraction of the full guard cost.
