About this item
- BUILDS PLANNING & SPATIAL REASONING — Squirrels Go Nuts! develops five STEM-connected cognitive skills with every puzzle: planning, logic, spatial insight, problem solving and concentration. Working out which squirrel can reach which hole, and in what order to slide them, trains the brain to plan a sequence and think ahead — the STEM-connected reasoning that underpins mathematics and logical thinking. It's so much fun to play, kids forget they're building real skills.
- DESIGNED FOR AGES 6 TO ADULT — 60 NUTTY CHALLENGES — A slightly gentler starting point than some SmartGames puzzles, Squirrels Go Nuts! welcomes a 6-year-old with simple two-squirrel challenges, then builds to expert puzzles that need dozens of moves and genuinely test adults. One game the whole family slides through together, each at their own level — a whole winter of growing challenge.
- SLIDE THE SQUIRRELS, DROP THE ACORNS — Winter is coming, so let's go nuts! Choose a challenge and place the squirrel pieces on the board as shown. Then slide the squirrels horizontally and vertically around the board so each one drops its acorn into a hole below. The catch: move them in the wrong order and the acorns end up in the wrong holes. You've solved it when every squirrel has stashed its acorn safely underground. One solution every time.
- THE PERFECT TRAVEL BRAIN GAME FOR EVERY GENERATION — Everything packs neatly into the compact case with a lid — just close it and go. It's ideal for planes, road trips, restaurants and grandparents' houses, with no loose pieces to lose. The same puzzle that builds a child's planning skills gives adults a satisfying screen-free challenge and offers older adults an engaging mental workout that helps keep the mind sharp and active — a thoughtful gift across generations.
- AWARD-WINNING BELGIAN DESIGN — SmartGames is the worldwide leader in multi-level logic games, with 30+ years of award-winning design from Belgium, trusted by families, educators and puzzle lovers in 80+ countries. Squirrels Go Nuts! shares the forest theme and compact travel size of its stablemate Jump In', with the same satisfying quality build, and a free companion app offering animated hints for the trickiest challenges.
