Automaton Mount Everest Skyline Moving Gears wall Clock, Handcrafted Steampunk Design, Mechanical Home Kitchen Living Room and Office Decor, Personalized Decorative Art, Custom Made Gift

Product Description

We decided to start a series of wallclocks dedicated to famous peaks and mountains of the world. Among first three is Mount Everest, Mont Blanc and Matterhorn each of which is now not only a geographical point but an iconic symbol. This wallart will be a great gift for one who hears the call of the mountains even at home or in the office. We created the Automaton Wall Clock series getting inspired not only by old mechanical wrist watches which gear motors seem to us real works of art but mechanical toys which were quite popular among the rich in XVIII in France. This wall clock belongs to our new Automaton Bite Wall Clock series but the main difference is that here the gears move smoothly and silently together with the clock mechanism. This beautiful effect of motion doubles because of the mirror on the back layer. The gears are powered by 4 AA batteries. An automaton (pronunciation: /ɔːˈtɒmətən/)(plural: automata or automatons) is a self-operating machine, or a machine or control mechanism designed to follow automatically a predetermined sequence of operations, or respond to predetermined instructions. Some automata, such as bellstrikers in mechanical clocks, are designed to give the illusion to the casual observer that they are operating under their own power.(c) wikiOur wooden clock is made of many layers of Baltic birch, painted wood stain and acrylics. Handcrafted galvanized brass screws are used in the clock.*the clock can be personalized (any name on clock face instead `Automaton`)Size : 314 mm (12.36in)*AA battery is not included**the clock hands can slightly differ from those on the pics
