Solid bamboo dowels arranged in a flexible multi-rod configuration generate a softer attack than our Standard model with mid-range volume between drumsticks and brushes. The lightweight bamboo provides soft definition as well as durability. These bundle sticks are equipped with adjustable control rings that alter their attack on virtually any type of percussion instrument. Moving the control rings up or down the rods changes the amount of spread toward the end. For a fatter sound, move the rings back toward your hands, or place them closer to the tip for sharper effects. The smooth grip is made to feel great in your hands while the length of it accommodates a number of hand positions. Great for both traditional and matched grip, as well as choking up or down the stick. Sold in pairs, the SB202 Flex Multi-Rod Bamboo has a length of 16.025" with a diameter of 0.650". The solid bamboo dowels are arranged in a circular shape without the additional center wrap for a lighter and more flexible touch. Multi-functional and extraordinarily versatile, our multi-rod bundle sticks can be used on all types of percussion instruments from cajon to drum kit where volume control is needed or the music calls for a different flavor. The tips are skewed (or sanded at an angle) to deliver a well-rounded attack on all surfaces.
