However, with the addition of the Fabric Grid for the 8x8' Butterfly, you gain the ability to direct and tame the light dispersion. The spread of light is narrowed to approximately 30 degrees, while maintaining the same output level. While the reflection of the butterfly in glossy products, catchlights in eyes, and automotive subjects may no longer be sleek and uninterrupted, it will serve as the largest non-direct gridded light source available. The fabric grid attaches securely to the aluminum butterfly frame in the same manner as the diffusion material, using binding straps.
