Product Description

This 2-pack of Prop and Scenery Lights FFC Fast Flickering Control is designed to reliably simulate flame-like light sources such as candles, torches, lanterns, oil lamps, coals, and burning logs. It features 6 dynamic effect modes, each with a unique flicker pattern, and 1 static dimming mode. For optimal results, use slower speed settings to simulate the ember glow of a fireplace. At the same time, faster modes are ideal for creating rapid flame flicker, as seen in gas lamps. Please note that the FFC1 is intended for use only with LED light sources. The flame flicker control operates within a DC voltage range of 5 to 24 volts. It is recommended to limit the current to 1.5 amps at 5-12 volts, which corresponds to a maximum power of 18 watts. The device retains the last setting used after being turned off or disconnected. This makes the controls suitable for battery-powered portable handheld props. Power connections use 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC barrel connectors, and each cable is 5.5 inches long. The control uses three operational buttons: the Mode button selects the flame flicker effect, the Speed button adjusts the flicker rate, and the Light button manages the on/off function, which also controls static dimming. This product is suitable for various applications, including DC voltage (Constant Voltage) LED lighting. It is perfect for special-effects lighting, season-themed decorations such as jack-o'-lanterns, fake fireplaces, and torches for theatrical plays, model railroad scenery, dioramas, and arrangements of LED lights to enhance candlelight concert venues. The lights or power source are not included with this 2-pack of controls.
