  • Superior Sealing - keeps water out by providing a superior seal around screws at the fastening site. Won’t bunch, bind, or tear during screw driving.
  • Heavy Duty Use - the tape's strong backing won’t tear easily, even when walking on or dragging boards across the joist.
  • High Quality butyl adhesive provides an advanced, secure bond to joists that won't peel off.
  • All Weather - use in all weather conditions; rated for use in temperatures from -70 F to 200 F degrees.
  • 3.25” for double beams.

Product Description

A heavy duty, flexible, all weather flashing and joist tape to extend the life of decking substructures, with a strong superior seal that prevents water penetration and protects joist lumber from rot. Select a tape width that allows for overhang on each side and apply to the top of a joist or beam using firm pressure (preferably with a hand roller) to ensure adequate adhesion. It’s best to apply this tape to clean, dry lumber. Use PRO-Tac tape to protect the top of joists before deck installation, as flashing for ledger board attachment to homes, or to protect exposed/raw end-grain.
