Why does my silk eye mask have a faint sour smell? Is it safe? Yes, it's safe—and actually a sign of real, high-quality silk! During production, a mild, silk-safe acidic solution is used to protect the silk's natural proteins. A faint trace may remain but is non-toxic. You can use it with confidence. How do I remove the smell? Mix 1 tbsp white vinegar with 4L cool water. Soak mask 2–5 min, then gently rinse under cool running water. Air dry flat in shade. This will removes odor & leaves silk softer & more lustrous. Why doesn't my eye mask block out all light like others? We all have unique facial features. If you have a higher nose bridge, try this: gently pull the lower edges toward the center and press around your nose. This helps the silk mold to your face for a better light seal
