About this item

A WALKING FORTRESS ON FOUR LEGS - This Great Tortoise stands 57mm tall and stretches 103mm long, equipped with a howdah (carrying platform) and supply boxes on its back. Use it as a beast of burden, war mount, giant turtle, tortoise guardian, or the most patient transport your party has ever ridden.
CAST IN URETHANE RESIN FOR MAXIMUM DETAIL - At 103mm long, resin captures the shell texture, scaled legs, and howdah construction with razor-sharp detail. Lightweight enough to stay stable despite the massive footprint.
SHELL, SCALES, AND CARGO - THREE PAINTING WORLDS ON ONE FIGURE - The shell offers vast textured surfaces for blending, weathering, or moss effects. The scaled legs demand reptilian technique. The howdah and cargo boxes add wood and leather textures. A painting project with real scope.
65mm LEAF LITTER SCENIC BASE INCLUDED - The included 65mm scenic base features organic leaf litter texture. Ships unpainted and unassembled with minor mold line cleanup expected.
AMERICAN-MADE INDIE CRAFT - Original sculpt from an independent US studio. Cast in high-quality urethane resin, individually inspected. You are supporting real artistry, not a factory line. For hobbyists aged 14+.

Product Description

The Stonehaven Great Tortoise is 103mm of slow, unstoppable presence. Standing 57mm tall with a howdah and supply boxes strapped to its enormous shell, this is a beast of burden, war mount, and mobile fortress all in one. It moves at its own pace because nothing in the wilderness is foolish enough to argue. Cast from urethane resin in the USA, the sculpt delivers impressive scale and texture variety. The shell surface offers broad painting canvases for blending, moss effects, and weathering. The scaled legs demand reptilian techniques. The howdah and cargo boxes introduce wood and leather elements that round out the project. Use it as a giant turtle, war elephant substitute, tortoise guardian, beast of burden, convoy mount, or the calmest NPC in the campaign. At 103mm long, it dominates the table without needing a threatening pose. The included 65mm scenic base features leaf litter texture. Minor mold line cleanup expected. Ships unpainted and unassembled. Stonehaven Miniatures is an independent American studio creating original sculpts in premium materials. For painters and hobbyists aged 14+.
