Product Description

"The PneumaticPlus SAU230-N02G combines three air preparation stages in one 1/4"" NPT body: a 10 micron particulate filter, a 0.1 micron coalescing filter, and an adjustable air pressure regulator with gauge. It is rated at 7 SCFM at 90 PSIG and replaces three separately piped components, shortening the run between compressor and tools. How it works: air enters the particulate stage first, where a cleanable 10 micron element takes out pipe scale, dirt, and rust. The second stage brings oil aerosols and microscopic particles down to 0.1 micron, and the liquid that drops out coalesces and runs to the bowl. The air then reaches the regulator, which holds the outlet wherever you set it as demand rises and falls. Left untreated, what a compressor sends downstream plugs the small orifices in pneumatic instrumentation, wears seals, erodes internal components, and shows up in finished work as fisheye in paint or a dirty cut edge on a plasma table. This unit is sized for blow guns, brad nailers, staplers, airbrushes, tire inflation, and small air ratchets. For HVLP spray guns, plasma cutting, or impact wrenches, step up to the 3/8"" or 1/2"" model. Choosing within the series: flow follows port size. The 1/4"" SAU230 is rated 7 SCFM, the 3/8"" SAU330 is 17 SCFM, and the 1/2"" and 3/4"" SAU430 are 37 and 40 SCFM. Size on the flow your tools actually draw rather than on the thread in your line, and if a tool sits near a rating, go up a frame. Every frame is offered with a polycarbonate or metal bowl, a manual, auto, or float auto drain, and a knob or T-handle regulator. The three stages are joined by a factory-installed T-bracket that also serves as the wall/panel mount point. Above 150 PSI, or where solvents harmful to polycarbonate are present, choose the metal bowl version instead. Replacement elements are the F200M-EL particulate and the FM200M-EL coalescing."
