• This hand wheel crank handle is compression-molded from thermoset phenolic, the dense bakelite compound long trusted on industrial control wheels, and it carries a 400F (200C) heat rating so the rim stays hard instead of softening and warping the way an ABS handwheel does under shop heat. At the center sits a solid AL6061 aluminum core hub, and that core is what lets this rotating wheel spin true with no wobble even under heavy resistance on a table saw, lathe or milling machine.
• Instead of one set screw that backs out under vibration, this crank handle locks on with a 3-point set screw system: three screws triangulate around the aluminum hub and bite into a round, D-shaped or square shaft, so the wheel grips from three directions at once. That triangulated hold keeps this hand wheel rock-solid with zero slipping, rattling or backlash under hard cranking, and the pre-machined 1/2in (12.7mm) bore seats onto your shaft cleanly before the screws are snugged down.
• The part you actually turn is a separate revolving handle: a PA6 nylon knob threaded onto a brass insert in the wheel rim, so this spinning handle turns on its own axis, not your whole wrist with the wheel body.
