I have a very mask-resistant two-year old, which was a challenge when masks were required in daycares for kids 2+ in NYC. I tried the pricey Happy Mask in a fun pattern and also disposable cheapo ones with car prints. He tolerated the latter sometimes, and he wouldn’t have anything to do with the Happy Mask. Finally I found these. Something about the breathing space it provides and the give of the elastic ear bands made these the most tolerable. Plus I love that these are high filtration so that if I ever need to reach for masks again (such as during another surge), these are an option. I was worried about sizing but these will work for most young toddlers. They also fit my two-year old’s face quite well. The only drawback is that they’re pricey.
