Bird Barrier Daddi Long Legs 6 Ft Bird Spider, Bird Deterrent for Boats

About this item

• SEAGULL, GOOSE & DUCK DETERRENT FOR BOATS – the Daddi Long Legs bird spider sweeps a moving barrier of stainless steel rods across the deck, canopy or dock so larger birds cannot get a clean landing. Owners use it against seagulls, Canada geese, ducks, herons, ospreys and pigeons. Works as a boat canopy bird deterrent, a seagull deterrent for docks and a duck deterrent for dock railings and swim platforms.
• WORKS ANYWHERE BIRDS PERCH – boats, docks, marinas, boat lifts and canopies, plus roofs, HVAC units, light fixtures, signage, patios and parking lots. Nearly invisible from a distance, so it stays unobtrusive in high-visibility areas like storefronts and malls. One of the few bird deterrents for outside that keeps working on an open, windy waterfront.
• WIND-POWERED — NO ELECTRONICS, NO CHEMICALS – the rods spin on a free-turning spindle driven by nothing but the breeze. No batteries, no solar panel, no ultrasonic noise, no sprays or gels. In dead-still air the rods stop spinning but still stand as a physical barrier — mount the spider where it catches prevailing wind for best results.
• HUMANE AND TANGLE-FREE – this is a visual and physical bird deterrent spider, not a trap. Tangle-free stainless steel rods carry blunt plastic tips so birds and people are not injured, and marine-grade stainless plus UV-stable components stand up to salt spray and sun. Nothing to refill and nothing to replace seasonally.
• FOUR SIZES — MATCH THE SPIDER TO THE AREA – 2 Ft covers about 3 sq ft, 4 Ft about 12 sq ft, 6 Ft about 28 sq ft and 8 Ft about 50 sq ft, measured tip to tip. Undersizing leaves gaps birds will find, so size up or use several units on a long dock or foredeck. Screw or glue to any surface, or add an optional railing mount, boat base, sandbag base or magnetic base. The spindle lifts off the base for cleaning and storage. Made in USA.
