About this item

Wide, deep and low — a true 20 inches across by 15 inches tall, the round shape that fits everything nicely, from spare bedding and towels to the blanket pile, while sliding under consoles and onto closet shelves; also made in a taller 16x18 inch size
Holds its round shape after one easy unfold — it ships folded, so open it up any way you like: stuff it with blankets for a day, steam the creases, or shape the sides by hand, and the thick double-woven rope then stands up on its own for good
The lid keeps mess in and pets out — a matching drop-on cover hides the clutter and keeps contents dust free, and the body is sturdy enough to keep curious dogs and cats out of whatever you store inside
Handles woven into the body — the low-profile rope handles are part of the weave itself, so there is nothing bolted on to loosen or snap; easy to grab and move even when packed heavy
Quality heavy material — about 7 lbs of dense natural cotton rope, soft and smooth to the touch with nothing prickly and no plastic frame; the weight you feel on arrival is the quality you paid for
One basket, many jobs — yarn and craft storage that stays clean, towels in the bathroom, blankets in the living room, clutter in the playroom, spare bedding in the closet, all out of sight under one tidy cover
Colours true to the photos — the handwoven Black finish is shown exactly as it ships and settles into boho, modern-farmhouse and minimalist rooms, making a warm housewarming gift

Product Description

A wide, deep round basket with a lid that keeps everything — and everyone — out. This 20x15 inch woven cotton basket slides under consoles and onto closet shelves while swallowing spare bedding, towels, yarn stashes and the clutter that migrates around the house. The drop-on cover keeps it all out of sight and dust free, and the body is sturdy enough to keep curious dogs and cats out of whatever you store inside. Need it taller instead of wider? The same family comes in a 16x18 inch size. The basket is double-woven from about 7 lbs of dense natural cotton rope, so it stands up on its own with no plastic frame inside, soft and smooth to the touch with nothing prickly. The low-profile handles are woven into the body itself — nothing bolted on to loosen — and the handwoven Black finish settles into boho, modern-farmhouse and minimalist rooms alike. A note on arrival: like all woven rope baskets, it ships folded and compressed, and may show creases from packaging. Unfolding it is easy, and there is more than one way to do it: stuff it with pillows or blankets for a day or two, pass a hand steamer over the creases while gently stretching, or simply push the folds out and shape the sides by hand. Once opened up, it holds its round shape for good. Every colourway is photographed as it ships. Care is simple: spot clean with a damp cloth.
