Bulka Sourdough Banneton Bread Proofing Basket 11.4" Oval Groove 750g

About this item

• SIZED FOR 750G BREADS: This 11.4" oval sourdough proofing basket supports your dough through its final rise so it holds its shape and turns out cleanly. Ideal for sourdough batards and other artisan loaves. A thoughtful gift for bakers and a lasting addition to your sourdough bread baking supplies.
• THICK WALLS FOR EVEN FERMENTATION: The dense wood pulp walls of this brotform insulate your dough and hold proofing temperature steady, for even fermentation and a reliable rise even in a cooler kitchen. A bread rising basket you can count on.
• CRISP, CRACKLY CRUST: The porous spruce wood pulp draws excess moisture off the dough as it proofs, leaving a drier surface that scores easily and bakes into a thin, crackly crust.
• EASY RELEASE: Doughs with good gluten development release from this sourdough proofing basket with just a light dusting of flour. For very wet or no-knead doughs, or ones with wet inclusions like olives or dried fruit, use a linen liner / kitchen towel.
• NO ADDED BINDERS, HANDMADE IN GERMANY: Crafted from sustainably sourced spruce wood pulp, bound by its own natural lignin, unlike grass or paper pulp baskets that rely on artificial binders. To clean, dry with residual oven heat at 210 to 250°F for 30 min, then brush off the flour. Don't wash with water.
