(1 Pack) Black Insulated Inline Splice Connector 2/0-6 AWG, Wire Splicer

About this item

• ALUMINUM TO COPPER, SAFELY — CU9AL dual rated for copper and aluminum in the same splice. Mixing conductors without a dual-rated connector is what causes the overheating behind aluminum wiring fires. One buyer joined 1/0 aluminum to 2 AWG copper in a service panel feeding a manual transfer switch.
• WIRE RANGE 2/0 TO 6 AWG — Catalog AP-10203. One conductor per terminal, 7/32 Allen hex set screws, body 3.23 in L x 0.98 W x 1.63 H. Fits 2/0, 1/0, 1, 2, 4, and 6 gauge. Verify your conductor before ordering: 4/0 will not seat and 14 gauge will not clamp.
• REPLACES SPLIT BOLT AND TAPE — The insulation is built in. No split bolt, no rubber tape, no buildup. Buyers report it fits where a split bolt would not, which matters in a crowded panel or a full junction box.
• PRE-FILLED WITH OXIDE INHIBITOR — Both barrels arrive loaded with inhibitor compound. Nothing to buy, nothing to squeeze in on site. On aluminum, that compound is what keeps the joint from going high resistance.
• EASY RE-ENTRY — Pull the access plugs, back off the hex screws, open the splice for inspection or a conductor swap, close it back up insulated. No cutting a taped connection out of the wall.
• BUILT FOR SERVICE AND FEEDER WORK — Used by buyers on panel changes, incoming service conductors, EV charger installs on 6 gauge, transfer switch feeds, junction box splices on #4, and heavy battery cable. One connector per current-carrying conductor.
• SINGLE CONNECTOR — One connector per order, for a single splice or a repair where you only need the one. Also available in a 4-pack if you are doing a three-phase run or want spares on the truck. Same connector, same rating, same wire range.
• AIRMONT PRODUCTS QUALITY — Built for reliability and durability on every electrical installation, because electricians know us, and we know electricians.
