Gerald the Bard has a quest to rescue a princess from a deadly dungeon. In addition to the dungeon, the game has a surface level and a subterranean river level. All 3 levels have traps, monsters, and treasures. Two six-sided dice, 3 sheets of graph paper, and pen or pencil are all that one needs to play the game.In addition to varying between three layers of dungeon, surface trails, and subterranean riverways, the book includes two certificates that the player can print to commemorate his or her victory.In addition to monsters and bosses, an Ultra-Boss is generated for each game.... making the final battle more of less difficult. Also, which level is the princess in? It could be a dungeon room, or a room in a tower on the surface... she could even be in the subterranean world.
