• GDI Intake Carbon Service: Uses dry walnut-shell media to help remove carbon deposits from intake ports, intake manifolds and the backs of fully closed intake valves. Designed for automotive repair shops, technicians and experienced users servicing gasoline direct-injection engines.
• Blasting and Vacuum Recovery: An external air compressor propels walnut-shell media against the deposits while the 1200W vacuum system collects loosened carbon and used abrasive. Built-in filtration helps separate recovered media from removed debris for a more controlled workshop process.
• Complete 13L Service Kit: Includes a 13L tank, five intake adapters, two spray guns, recovery hose, connector, safety goggles and 4.4 lb (2 kg) of walnut-shell media. Adapter fit varies by intake-port shape and size, so the kit should not be considered universally compatible.
• Confirm Requirements Before Ordering: An external air compressor is required because the HTS558 does not generate compressed air. Verify the voltage and plug, compressor output, air-fitting standard, adapter dimensions, intake access and recommended dry walnut-media size before use.
• Clean One Closed Port at a Time: Turn off and cool the engine, access the intake ports and rotate the crankshaft until the selected intake valve is fully closed. Protect adjacent openings and remove loose media before reassembly. Not intended for injectors, throttle bodies, combustion chambers, rust or paint removal.
