ARES 18070 2-Pc Automatic Slack Adjuster Release Tool & Wrench

About this item

• INCLUDES: This slack adjuster release tool set includes two different tools to quickly and easily adjust slack adjusters on trucks and trailers equipped with air brake systems. The fork end release tool releases the tensioner button, and the 5/16-inch double square reversible ratcheting wrench adjusts the brake system.
• DESIGN: These tools are made of durable carbon steel and feature oversized double injection handles, designed to offer increased comfort, grip, and leverage for an easier service job from start to finish. The double square ratcheting wrench provides reversible ratcheting action with an angled head for easier clearance and access.
• APPLICATIONS: This set’s fork end tool fits securely under the brake system’s pull pawl, allowing for hands-free operation perfect for owner-operators looking to service their own trucks. These tools hold the system’s tensioner release system and adjust the brakes safely, avoiding damage caused by other tools’ excessive prying force.
