ARES 36006 3-Pc Magnetic 2-Stage Universal Joint Set - 1/4,3/8,1/2-In

About this item

• INCLUDES: This 3-Piece Magnetic 2-Stage Universal Joint set includes 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2-inch Drive U-Joint sockets, and comes packed in a durable storage case. These adapters feature a 2-stage ball spring design, allowing them to quickly switch from swivel to fixed position functionality, and magnetic tips for retaining nuts and bolts.
• DESIGN: These 2-Stage Universal Joints feature a unique 2-stage ball design that allows each socket to swap from swivel to fixed-position function with a simple pull or push. When engaged as a swivel, these u-joints feature 360-degree rotation, and each socket features a magnetic tip for retaining bolts. Made from high-strength, premium Chrome Moly steel and with a mirror polished chrome plated finish, these universal joints feature knurled collars for enhanced grip and meet or exceed ANSI standards.
• APPLICATION: Thanks to these sockets’ 2-stage design, this set offers superior versatility to traditional u-joint sockets. The swivel position of each socket enables an improved 360-degree action range of motion for easier access to hard to reach areas, while the fixed position provides standard usage. The magnetic tip of each u-joint can also hold a bolt in place in an attached socket, allowing for even greater versatility. *NOTE: U-joints not for use with impact tools*
