• READ FIRST - A 4K 60HZ DISPLAY IS REQUIRED - The output side must be a 4K screen that accepts 60Hz. A 1920x1080 TV or monitor will not show a picture, and 4K at 30Hz or 1440p screens are outside the supported range. The input side must be sending 1080p.
• 1080P TO 4K 60HZ UPCONVERSION - A dedicated video graphic processor rebuilds the 1080p feed at 4K 60Hz with image sharpening, colour processing and added depth of field. This is an upconversion of the incoming picture, not native 4K rendering by the console, and it does not cut the frame rate of the source.
• WHICH DEVICES IT FITS - Made for Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED in dock mode, plus Wii U, PS4, Chromecast and Apple TV and other sources with a 1080p HDMI output. Handheld mode sends no HDMI signal, so it cannot be used undocked. The PS5 and Xbox Series X already output 4K and do not need it.
• FOUR-STEP SETUP, EXTERNAL POWER NEEDED - Connect the UHD end into the console or dock, run the supplied USB-A to Type-C lead to a power source, connect the display side, then press the button to switch it on. Use an HDMI 2.0a data-capable lead; an HDMI 1.4 lead will not carry the signal.
• WHAT IS IN THE BOX - One 4K Gamer Plus unit, one 27cm HDMI extender and one 150cm USB-A to Type-C power lead. An HDMI cable is not supplied. The unit is compact and light enough to leave permanently behind the TV or pack with a travel dock.
