About this item

• WATER CONTROL HAS EVOLVED: LoRa-based 1/4 mile open-air long range. Three power modes: AC with battery back-up, AC-only, and battery-only. Device-to-device pairing. Valve position feedback. No reliance on WiFi. The new Valve Controller 2 is state-of-the-smart water control!
• THAT WAS EASY! Simple, no-plumber-required, DIY installation, installs in minutes. PLUG, PLUG & PLAY Hub installation (plug it directly into your router), and SET IT & FORGET IT water leak sensors.
• LONGEST RANGE, BY FAR: wireless 1/4 mile open-air range, and superior obstruction penetration (even through metal!), and extreme long battery life, thanks to LoRa (Long-Range) and low-power cutting-edge technology.
• DON'T TRY THIS WITH WiFi! YoLink devices do not use your WiFi, while typical smart devices do and can bog down your network and can even present a security risk. Our 923.3 MHz Chirp Spread Spectrum technology allows you to place sensors on other floors and even in other buildings, through concrete and even metal, where WiFi can't reach or is spotty.
• START SMART! A YoLink hub is REQUIRED for full functionality, including for the app to work, but your hub is compatible with a growing family of smart products for home and business! Search for B09FSS95G9 for a SpeakerHub (our audio, talking hub) or B07TQLKQLJ for the original Hub.
• Note: Bulldog works with lever handle only, it does not work with PVC Butterfly type valves or round handle.
• INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS — Install the device in a suitable location according to the installation environment and operating conditions. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture, flooding, standing water, condensation, extreme temperatures, and other harsh conditions unless the device is specifically rated for such environments. Use proper protection, insulation, or enclosures when required. Improper installation or prolonged exposure to unsuitable conditions may damage internal components, affect measurement accuracy, or impact valve performance.
