At 32mm across and just 1mm thick, these ultra-thin neodymium disc magnets occupy the most demanding end of the flat magnet spectrum: wide enough to grip through layers of cardstock or fabric, thin enough to disappear beneath decorative paper or a fold of leather. That combination — large diameter, N52 grade, 1/32 inch profile — makes these thin flat magnets the right component for craft closures that need to hold without showing.Rated up to 5.1 lbs pull force, each large flat disc magnet holds reliably through 1–2mm of cardstock, felt, or thin wood veneer — the typical material stack in a handmade gift box magnet closure or a scrapbook album cover. Axially magnetized through the disc face, with a maximum operating temperature of 80°C (176°F). The NiCuNi triple-layer coating gives the surface excellent adhesion: E6000, CA glue, and two-part epoxy all bond cleanly without abrasion.Because the diameter-to-thickness ratio is extreme (32:1), these magnets need attentive handling. Always slide discs apart laterally rather than pulling face-to-face — snapping together at speed can chip the edge.
